I'm Not a Blogger

"Blogging is not writing, it's just graffiti with punctuation." That's a line from the movie 'Contagion.' And as a writer who has been published in magazines, that's how I felt. But to disparage blogging is not the reason why I'm writing this today--I'm writing this as a continuum of my career (though this introduction seems a bit self-indulgent like some blogs, doesn't it?), the natural course of my creative evolution.

The main reason I'm writing this is to inform and share. As a creative, there never seems to be enough outlets to do this. I have a million and one thoughts running through my head. I'm sure many of you feel the same--the thought that keeps you up at night, the one that wakes you up just as you fall asleep, the one that is the next big idea that just stews on the back burner. For me, it's time--time to bring that pot forward, stir it up, and make a feast of it to share with everyone because intrinsically we all want to share.

So what will I be serving up? Mostly design ideas. Interior design, home improvement, industrial design, art...anything that is innovative, unusual and functional. And let's not forget a heaping spoonful of pretty.
